Baby talent out of control. That's what the papers read. It was a lazy summer day of filming on the backlkot at Warner Brothers, and the babies were having a field day. They had posted a notice that they were going to be casting for baby talent and people had begun flooding into the gates at about four thirty in the morning.
Someone had started a rumour that they were seeking baby talent to be in a commercial for a new baby sport energy drink, with slightly reduced caffeine content. The vast majority of people arriving that day were under the impression that baby talent with sporting gear was the ticket of the day. Parents brought everything from water skiing equipment to fully padded hockey uniforms for 8-14 month olds.
SUV's with baseball bats spilling out and station wagons adorned with baby surf boards filed continuously into the parking lot, soon overtaking nearby sets and scenery as more and more baby talent arrived, seemingly by the truckload. In the end it turned out it was a baby talent search for a new brand of biodegradable pampers, and half of the participants lost interest and headed for home.
